- quite the cut water on it. The ad leaves a little to be desired though.
anyone recognize the power plant? Looks like something's missing - water pump maybe?

You might want to ask the Antique and Classic Boat society folks about this one if you havn't yet. I'm no expert on these but it looks like this might be a real classic if restored.

I'm sure it's a real classic, but he doesn't even tell us how long it is, let alone how old, or who built her. It's the sort of boat that's desirable for restoring, anyway. Wonder what kind of shape she's in.

You have a real classic and very valuable boat if you keep the origional engine and do a proper restoration on both the boat and it's engine. There are classic boat collectors that dream of finding what you have just aquired. My only advise is to proceed with caution and don't throw anything away that came with it!

better jump on it before some rocket scientist grabs it, fiberglasses it, and puts a chevy V8 in it...

Rob,
That guy don't know crap about boat, thats for sure... It not a racing boat as he stated it was...
It an old styled cruiser, and I have seen many of those... For$4,000.00 asking price, running or not... It looked home built... As for the engine, it an oldie, I couldn't tell in the photo, I was gonna say it an Chrysler, but again it's out of my head... But, it not a "Chris Craft"......
