at the Apprenticeshop in Rockland, ME at 7pm about his book of Willard Jackson photographs. I'm taking my DVD of them for an 'ottograf'.

Then I'm going to ask why his Rudderposts blog hasn't had any postings for three months... and if there's any word yet on this summer's Small Reach Regatta. Fair warning.

Steve Bauer says he'll be there on a 'mission from God'.

The advertisement in WoodenBoat (No. 194, page 35) for the Small Reach Regatta pinned down the dates of the week of August 19-25. Right now, it appears we'll be doing a "keep it simple" approach of Thursday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25. I'm waiting for word back on a couple of things before making the final plans, but the dates are certain.

I've got way too much to do right now, but I'll get back to the forum on this as soon as I can.

Dave, you forgot to ask about the blogs...;)

And I forgot to ask about the new 12M story..:(

Must have been because the photos and commentary were stunning...(OK Matt, is that enough sucking up? :D ) No, really.

Photo's man, we need accursed pixels. (P.S. almost time to drag... out the flag)

Matt brought up the blog unprompted when we chatted upstairs. It's time consuming especially considering the time he puts into responding to questions on the Lumberyard Skiff forum... but he has ideas for jumpstarting the Rudderposts blog. My favorite photo of the slideshow was of one of the Seawanhaka schooners (like Charmian).

Gareth- None of us had cameras which is a shame because a series of photos of us snaking a lapstrake 'Jim skiff' (?) into the basement of the old high school would have been pretty funny. We spent some time aboard Hugh's Frisco Flyer, eating a nice chowder with cornbread with Hugh's family... and NOT going to see Steve and Mary Bauer's new acquisition, the Ostkust sloop at the Apprenticeshop.
