Went to the New England Boat Show in Boston yesterday.As expected,almost all the construction was other than wood,but the joinery in the Sabre cruisers was superb.Teak,mahogany beautifly done.Also ,there was an exhibitor who makes Adirondak Guide boats using cedar strip construction,that were spectacular.Instead of cove-and-bead he employs a 22 deg. bevel on the strip edges.Another exhibitor had a 16 ft Herreshoff design sloop with a F-G hull,but all else was beautifully done woods. Yours for only $33K .
