View Full Version : Nice suprise in my email this morning

Checked my email and I find that a wonderful lady on another boat had taken some pictures of my son and I waiting for the start before Sunday's race. Always tough to get good pictures of your own boat under sail, and even better when it helps you recall a really beautiful afternoon on the water.

JimD, we got 4th out of 9 in our fleet. Not bad, but probably should have done better. maybe could have finished 2nd if I had flown a chute.

Are you satisfied with your Forte carbon spar? Were there other suppliers you talked to? http://www.forterts.com/photos.php

Do you have a spinnaker? Assymetric?

Very satisfied. Tony Delima gave me excellant service and a lot of personal attention. The price was very reasonable. Much less expensive that Hall (who just gave me an informal quote over the phone). The only problem I had was a couple of padeyes on the boom that needed replaced.
