Arrghh - didn't check the weather report today. I put the last of the paint on at about 1:30 and I reckon the thunderstorm will hit it at about 4:30. I may be OK as it was 30C here today. Didn't paint much, just some trim.

But we're in the middle of a massive drought. Our water storages are near empty. At least its raining over the catchment.
Maybe its God turning on the thunderstorm for Dick Cheney's flight in to Sydney?

The weathermen are only half right anyway. When I was doing epoxy in the summer time,I used to look at the broken groups of clouds heading east. I would then try to gauge if I had 6 hrs before they backed up inland before coming back as T-storms. 4 hours would allow me to get visquean on it without serious issue. I was usually correct within 30 minutes every time. I would then sit back and chuckle with a streetable middle digit pointed at the storm like "Heh,I win.". It rains nearly every day here in summer. You should be safe enough. Worst case being a little bronze wool and an extra coat.

Being a weatherman can be risky, since they cannot be fired for being wrong 50% of time, but the angry mobs most likely catch the sucker in public and beat him down into 100% pulp....
So I just rely on my wife's joint pains....

When I painted there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I spotted the clouds as I headed back in to the marina.

Ok Ian,
If I dig some footings or rip the roof off a reno project, and you get the paint pot out, we should be able to do some good here re the dam levels.

That's the plan. I'll probably pop the lid on the paint tin again tomorrow.

Fine,
I'll pull some roof tiles off a job.
It must then rain somewhere between Sydney and Brisbane.

Well, I painted and the radar shows a whole heap of little storms out there in the hills - but the paint was dry by 12:30 today. No problems from yesterday fortunately. All finished that job now.
