Finishing ?? Chemist, Conrads and others

OK, I am on the home stretch (as far as the decks go). I have sanded down, but unfortunately, to the cloth on the outside radii. Should I worry or just forge ahead with primer and paint? I can feel it though it is only 6oz cloth.

Glazing putty?? Or?

I think that I would hit the cloth with a bit of epoxy to seal it back up, sand lightly then proceed with finishing.

Yup, I'd put another coat of epoxy on- if you've sanded to the cloth, it's pretty thin. Besides, putting on another coat will give you something new to sand.......

Eek! I knew that was what you'de say (especially Conrad). OK OK back to the sanding. Fortunately it is only on the outside radii (you like that don't you Chemist).
