Studying it now Ray...I'm gonna build one. Currently looking at the feasibility of lofting it out full size, measuring off molds on 1 foot intervals and cedar stripping it.
To me these catboats are perfect - a single sail, easy to trailer, store and launch, coming in to shore - a kickup center board, rudder flush with the keel/skeg, wide and stable, room for my wife when she goes with me once in a blue moon - and they look great. Added bonus, the Tomcat has seats. I've bought plans for Bolgers Bobcat, the Selway Fisher Petrel (http://www.selway-fisher.com/Other1013.htm#PETREL), and now have settled on the Tomcat, not wishing to do another stitch and glue. I just bought the book.
