hi folks, first i wanted to say that it was cool to meet a few of you at the boat builders show last weekend and at stevens afterwards, thanks again to steven and his family for surrendering their house and a good meal to all of us. that was a good day.
and for anyone who is interested here are a few updated pictures of my sea bird winter project. i have finished the planking finally! ready to move on to the cockpit and deck. cheers -joel :)

thanks guys for the replies. i would be glad to have anyone stop by, although if you visit ken then me you would see two very different spectrums of wooden boats i think. kens work is engineered perfection and just amazing to behold. im just putting wood together..haha

As for photos of mine, hmmm! Perhaps I'll wait for the Maine contingent to visit and let them post photos.:D
Not much progress lately, but I could post a photo of the steering wheel I got last week on ebay.:)

Is that the Sparkman/Stevens design? Do you know who the builder was? I do a lot of research on the PennYan boat company and records show they built several 'SeaBirds', however I only know the wearabouts of one.
