Anyone know a source for plain white double-braid dacron 7/16 ins. line? Most of it seems to have a color thread.
Most double braided dacron line, in sizes larger than fishing line, is dacron/polyester. Is that what you're looking for?

Yeah. The problem is the color.

I don't know about double braid (or what you want the rope for), but the least objectionable ropes like that that I've seen are from New England Ropes (http://www.neropes.com/):
New England Ropes' Regatta Braid. 12-strand single braid with a single red marker thread:http://www.neropes.com/ProductImages/large/regattabraid_lg.jpg
NE Ropes' Sta-Set. Double braid. Available with just the single, red marker thread (far left of image) in the cover:http://www.neropes.com/ProductImages/large/staset_lg.jpg
Sta-Set X. Parallell core rather than double braid. Available in white with 2 red marker threads in the cover (far left rope in photo):http://www.neropes.com/ProductImages/large/stasetx_lg.jpg
But I've never seen a normal double-braid with a solid cover.
Pelican Rope Works (http://www.pelicanrope.com/spunropes.html) has some. It's Dupont 77 over a polyester core, which I think is the same stuff as Spectrum Braid.

Try Bob Dollar at R & W Rope in New Bedford... if he ain't got it, he can probably get it or direct you to it.
(508) 995-1114 or (800) 260-8599 normal business hours. If Bob's not there, ask for Ken Burr.
