One of our members owns USA2 (!) and is having her professionally restored. The guys at the shop have apparently condemned the existing spar so he will need a new one. I am putting out feelers wherever I can, so if you know of such a thing that's for sale, please let me know. And if you know of a spar builder who does good work and is relatively reasonable let me know that as well and I will add them to my 'suppliers' list for the future.
Thanks.

I avoid commercialism on this site. But I do build masts as well as boats.
My appologies for this mention

I asked. If you will send me your information via PM I will put you on our list, as well. We have over 20 woodies being restored right now in North America and will no doubt find even more. Most of the boats we know about have aluminum rigs but with the current wave of restoring older boats to their original specifications there may be owners who would prefer a wooden spar.
Thanks for contacting me.
