John Tesh and CBS Sports in the early eighties, with a tape delay to help managed incredible coverage of some European bicycle races (i.e. Paris-Roubaix, Tour de France). With music and editing, they were great to watch.

I can still remember some of the narration, "These are the 17th century cobblestones of northern France..."
