>It's that time of year again and we have exciting news regarding the 2007 Dunkin' Donuts Newport Folk Festival, August 4th & 5th, at historic and scenic Fort Adams State Park.
>
>We are pleased to announce that for the first time ever in the festival's long history, rock 'n roll's greatest jammin' blues band, the Allman Brothers Band will take the Newport stage on Saturday, August 4th at the Dunkin' Donuts Newport Folk Festival.
>
>The Allman Brothers Band will play a full, concert-length set as part of a sensational day-long program that also features the North Mississippi Allstars, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine), Assembly of Dust, and many others, appearing on three different stages.
>
>The Sunday, August 5th program welcomes back longtime festival favorites Alison Krauss & Union Station, featuring Jerry Douglas. The multiple-Grammy winner joins Emmylou Harris, Amos Lee, Alejandro Escovedo, and bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley, among many others to be announced shortly. Why not make Newport your weekend destination, so you don't miss any of the musical magic!
