I recently noticed this past summer, that my anchor chain pipe was weeping badly. It is deck fed from a 2" wilcox crittendon Bronze deck fitting.
During a rain storm in the fall, i noticed that the pipe leading down from the deck was completely broken off from the ring on the underside of the deck.It turned out to be IRON, and had completely wore through. It was original after all to 1952! the underside ring is Iron.which i will replace with bronze.
I am looking to replace it with copper or bronze. It has a slight bend in it to feed the chain to the locker.I could live with a straight pipe or tube.2" would be the Inside Diameter, and I could probably get away with a larger ID upto 2.25", I am having trouble finding a 4' section.I have tried online metals, atlas etc, would a plumber's supply house have something like this? Thick walled like schedual "L" suits me fine.thanks in advance.
