Has anyone ordered bronze hardware from Classic Marine and if so, were you satisfied with the quality and service? I was interested in their rudder pintles and gudgeons, gooseneck, etc.

I haven't ordered any bronze, but I have made several purchases from them. Very satisfied. Helpful, good prices, and extremely prompt. Can't complain.

I've ordered lots from them and the service is very, very good. I had a snag with my online order (a ton of spar fittings-mast ring that stuff) they phoned me at their close of business on Friday and I had the package Monday morning. During Christmas rush season no less. I've been very happy with the quality. Some custom welded fittings aren't what you'd call beautiful, but they are morre than up to the task.

I have had chainplates, horse and other fittings custom made plus bought stuff from the catalogue. Great advice from a serious marine engineer, seriously well-made products and excellent service. Even met me on a Saturday, bought me lunch and opened the shop/workshop!

I cannot say enough in praise of classic marine. I ordered a custom sized galvanized boom gooseneck for my 25' Crosby catboat. Two large clamp assemblies with a sliding pin for the 34' long boom. Reef hooks were included on both sides (my request).
The quality was top-notch, and it fit perfectly.
Highly recommended.

The rudder gear for Gavin's Elf is really neat. We're very happy. Moray posts hear sometimes. :)

Thanks for the input. I will be placing an order with them in the near future and will of course post photos with the results.
