Hi!
I just wanted to tip you about a boat my father has built. I hope this is the right place? Actually he wanted me too build him a simple website with some picture of the boats along with a story about how it was built.
The boat is called Hannamaria and you can find the website here: http://www.hannamaria.se/
For now the website is a bit simple but I will update it with some more photos and stories about the boat.
Here is a qoute from the site that describes the boat further:
Hanna Maria is a 43' long yacht, designed with classic features above water line and with fast modern lines below. After a one year design work, she was built during a six years period in Göteborg Sweden and launched the first time 1995 and have been sailing in Scandinavian waters since then.

It's amazing that the lighter mast improved the boats stability by 25%.
What is in the latch box above the sink?
One word... Beautiful! :)

I admire your father's courage and confidence to design & build a boat that big, lots of hours and krona. The result is stunning.
BTW, I used to work for SKF in the US and traveled to Goteborg many times. Even got to go boating in the archepeligo a few times. Beautiful place to sail.

Wow, I didn't expect that much response and appritiation. I will surely forward this to my father. I will definetely keep the website updated with more information and and photos.
I will speak to my father and maybe we can put all the design plans and drawings online for download. Would that be interresting for you?
Kaksi: It would be very nice from you to offer the plans on-line, but why don't you offer them for sale to interested parties?
You may not be able to offer the plans for sale on this forum, but you may do that on your web site. Keep us posted!:)

I just updated the website a little bit with a little guestbook at the bottom... please leave a comment. I'll try to get some more photos up within a few days. I talked to my father and we will put the plans and designs up for download for free. We will also put up a captains log where he will try to write about everything that happens, what new things he creates and so on... maybe a journal of places he visits and so on...
How about that?
