No news yet. :( We didn't finish the painting with all the rain last weekend so we postponed the launch. We wanted Thursday but the boat mover was booked. So now we're scheduled for Friday morning's high tide, around 10 am. The engine and bildge pumps have all new wiring thanks to Mark (TylerDurden). You wouldn't believe the rats nest of old wiring that came out of her. The cabintop and topsides are painted and the deck will get paint in the morning. Bottom paint Thursday am. I've got 2 coats of Le Tonkinois on the boom after stripping it down to bare wood. I won't put the mast in 'til Monday so I can still get plenty of coats on the boom. Le Tonk builds quickly, no solvents. :)
I'll go get the camera and see if there are a couple of pics to share.

Hum, a blue bootstripe and matching rubrail. Neat idea.;) Of course, the ice when you launch it may rub the blue bootstripe off. :p

Steve big recommendation Interlux seam compound the bottom then paint with ACT ( expensive but worth it ) THEN SLICK SEAM you wont take on water when you launch.
Topsides look beautiful and fair what kind of white did you use, Ive become a big fan of Petit off white.
Edited to add; you got to do a Red bootstripe, I dont think the 3M blue tape will last the season ;)

Kirby's semi-gloss white. Planning on the seam compound. I know she's a little bit rough still but we'll be out sailing. :D

Better to sail than polish below the waterline :D. Still planning on a launch tomorrow ? Better stop posting and start painting ;)

Friday. 10am. If I had an iPhone I could post piccies from the boat. Since I'll be spending the night aboard I don't know when I'll get to a computer. I guess I could send some flip phone pics for you to post for me. :)

Second only to the first night you sleep on the hook.

SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!! Man that looks awesome. Much better than in the driveway at the Bauer's.
Picture quality is exceptionally good for a phone pic. (Maybe I don't know how to use mine correctly !)
