Very Nice! Congratulations!
Tom
Very nice job !! Did you alter the oar length yet or use the way they were ?
How did it launch off the trailer ? Yours looks quite a bit longer then mine ( the trailer ), probably easier to get the stern in a little deeper water.
If you get to testing it with the long shaft outboard, let us know. Thanks !

Hey Dave. Yes, I just modified one set of oars. Cut a foot off the handle end, bored 5" deep 1 1/8" hole down the center and installed a new handle. Haven't use them yet. Taking the family out to the lake tomorrow to swim and boat a bit.
When we took the boat out last week, I put the motor on and we cruised around the lake a couple of times. (small lake) the motor worked fine. It is an older 2hp Johnson Seahorse. I got off ebay, suppose to have only been used twice by the man's uncle and then stored for almost 30 years. All paint was original and none missing on the prop or skeg.
Just installed the floor boards this afternoon and can't wait to try with them in. Should make moving around in the boar much easier.
The trailer works fine. Pull it with a Ford Expedition. I need 40 acres to turn it around. HaHaHa....
The long tongue works great. I don't need to get the Truck any where near the water. When the transom rises on the water, the boat can be pushed off the trailer with ease. Loading is easy too. Just get close hook up the winch strap crank it in. Then drive forward and position the boat on the bunks if need be. Even with the floor boards in, I doubt that the whole thing weighs 200 lbs.
Have a good one.
