While taking the Lofting Class at WoodenBoat School this year. I actually was able to take some nice pictures.
Click for slideshow (I tried to make an embedded slideshow.. But I think the forum software may not support it somehow )

That's a beautiful job you're doing on that boat, Bob. Is it done yet?

Hi All,

My boat is not done yet.. I'm down to varnishing and staining and reassembling. I still need to get some of the hardware (Windshield brackets, cutwater..) The hatches need to be cleaned up a bit.. And finally upholstery. I'd like to get it wet by the fall.. At least once.

Lofting class was very educational.. Certainly you could read about it and make the attempt without formal training.. However - the class helped a lot with questions such as "Now what do I do next?" and "These points do not line up, which one is lying..?"

Plus - any time at WBS is well spent - summer camp for adults!

Two of my favorite cruising sailboats in one of your pictures: Jon Wilson's Concordia 33 and Sweet Olive, moored within sculling distance of the dinghy dock. Thanks!
