Well today was the big day. I had a good plan and a good assistant.
My lovely wife. But i had to remember to treat her nice. she doesn't take any ....
It went pretty much as I had planned. Had to roll on uneven ground with rocks.

Congrats!
Thanks Jim.
It was harder getting it out of the garage than putting it back in, even though it was a downhill slope. No big scrapes or gouges.
My wife said it was scary. She is a school teacher.
I don't know what she would have thought about my 18,000 pound sloop that i built.
The keel on this one was 127 pounds. the 36 foot sloop was 5,700 lbs. the method of moving them was the same, prybars and pipe rollers.
School teachers don't scare easily! ...So what's the story on this 36 footer?

The first boat i built was a sharpie design 30 ft. with a wide beam 3:1 ratio. that was "WAYBEYOND"
The architect was Tracy O'brian.
I built it out of steel. Ketch rig.
The second boat was the 36 ft. sloop, a Brent Swain design that was like origami paper folding but with steel. 10 ft. 6 inch beam. Deep keel traditional hull. NACA foil keel that contained lead, fuel fresh water, and bilge tank. It had a 37% displacement ratio.
3/16 thick hull. Made from two sheets of steel.
That was "LUCKY STAR". Sloop rig.
I remember when I turned my hull over...what a great day it was.
Congrats.

Heres how i went about to flip. no other hands on hand. Don't think this would be practical for larger boats. Smart looking method you have

Nice turning over fixture Don Victore.
Now I KNOW that one will work for sure.
It was a great day and everything went well.
I WAS tired of seeing the boat upside down and now I will begin to adjust to seeing right side up.
