Greetings fellow Forumites,

The Lettie G.Howard and I are underway from Gloucester to Portland this afternoon (Tuesday July 31). We should be arriving in Portland sometime in the morning and plan to moor at Portland Yacht Services.

Feel free to swing by and ask for the Captain and mention the WBF.

I'll be picking the girls up at sailing class about a hundred yards from where you'll be docked. We'll pop over a little after 4. :)

We have arrived after a surprising amount of sailing through the night (the wind held on a lot longer than I would have wagered), and are now berthed at PYS. If folks have a general idea of their timing please let me know as I would hate to be out and about the city while folks are here.

It was a pleasure to meet you and the girls the other day. It is always a treat to meet someone face to face that you have "know" for some time through an on line forum.

For those of you that did not have a chance to swing by, we will be back down that way in a couple of weeks. When I have greater details I will let folks know.

This weekend we are in Salem, MA at the Salem Maritime Festival. Stop by if anyone is in the neighborhood.
