Someone could spend a lot of time trying to figure out exactly what they've got with that one. Obviously that house is not original. That's a big ol' can of worms, but what if it turned out to be an actual 1896 Herreschof?

I think the boat probably does date from 1896 or thereabouts - the form is that of a "rater" and the profiles of fin and rudder are "right". I think there is a very good chance that this boat is indeed what it says on the ticket.

Well worth investigating by someone in the area.
