Both for a wonderful sail yesterday evening on Talisman, and for your patience with this rookie sailor.
After the week I had, you may very well have kept me from becoming a breaking news item on CNN...:D
At the very least, I owe you a few hours of scraping and sanding...

Love the golden late afternoon light. Steve- Is your mainsheet double ended, i.e., can you trim the sail on both ends?

Sure looks like a very nice boat, from what I can see in the pictures. I don't know how to sail, but seeing stuff like this makes me want to learn.

It is Dave. Though in practice we just use the one end. Maybe after the wedding you could come down for a sail. :)

Thanks. That would be a treat, and September is much the nicest month for it. I'm bidding on a black powder cannon tomorrow at an auction. If I get it we can assault Fort Gorges or anyplace else you'd like. They won't stand a chance. I bet when they hear we're coming they'll abandon the battlements!
