I have exhausted all of my sources and have come up with nada for screws that once where easy to find! I need 100 1 1/2" #18 round head silicon bronze wood screws. If any of you know of a box in a dusty shed, let me know. Any number would be apprecitated!

It's the round head that is making things tough, huh? I just took a look at www.ccfasteners.com. They had it in flathead, but not oval/round. Usually, they have a pretty good online presence.
Stoneway (http://www.stonewayhardware.com) in Seattle is usually a great resource, but I don't know if they will ship. Can't hurt to call. Otherwise, Tacoma Screw might work.

McMaster-Carr?
Nope. McMaster does not carry bronze wood screws.
Their focus is on industrial products, and wood screws are on the fringes of that realm anyway, and bronze wood screws are beyond the fringe...

Check eBay for previous sellers of bronze fasteners -- some of these guys seem to be sitting on some old chandlery stock and might have what you need.
Good Hunting!

Jay, check with Valley Nut and Bolt in Tenino. They always surprise me with the stock they have stashed away. They are in the phone book on line.
