Geez - I better get this posted before midnight or I'll have to change the title.
Some of today's milestones:
Sarah got her first titanium today :D:D I'm telling you, the girl is starting to like this... Seriously, they're hand-me-downs from another project, but she's sporting two titanium washers (metric no less)...

May God have mercy on my soul :( I've had seven years to get all this interior stuff refinished and here I am putting bulkheads in without the epoxy even sanded. :(:(

The thinking behind this was that we were talking about James building some temporary bulkheads for the move and when I thought about buying several sheets of 3/4 ply and him spending a couple of days building something that would just be torn out later, I suddenly got religion and got to working on the bulkheads.
Unfortunately, religion or not, three days doesn't really give enough time to rebuild a bulkhead - SailorDave and Lefty can tell you how much work they need...

Last but not least, after about 25 (conservatively) hours of prep, the toe rails are taped

Tomorrow I varnish, and I really have to crawl under the bridge deck and look for the magnet....
The **** Magnet that is. I can clean the bridge deck off and within a matter of hours:

There must be a magnet under the deck...

Lookin good, Margo!
Ah...she doesn't need all that interior stuff to float! It's gonna be great. Think of how happy she'll be to bob in the breeze like she's meant to. I bet she's starting to smile already! :D
You go girl!! :)
What Nanoose said. When Skye went back in after the Winter out in a heated shed with concrete floor, the interior was installed. It took weeks for the whole boat to stabilize and things like the head door and floorboards don't fit at all right now. Better to put the insides together later, though it is probably good to put in the bulkheads. Standard here is to wait a week at least before stepping the mast (more would be good in this case) and at least another week for the hull to adjust to the rig's strains before sailing. SAILING?!!!

No magnet here... just a mild case of HSS. Horizontal Surface Syndrome. :)

I think it's a VERY good idea to get those bulkheads in prior to moving. Not only for stregnth, but because when Sarah swells up (with pride ofcourse! ), it may be difficult to get the bulkheads into their proper location w/o a pry bar and sledge hammer.
