This is one of the lower planks that was not replaced. The biggest spot is on a seam that was a tough spot to cotton and caulk. I'll reef it out and do a better job.

What has me worried though is the seepage through the plank. This shot shows three of about a dozen spots:

Oh, and someone (Dave) forgot limber holes on a couple of the floors. Maybe he was going to come back and do them later, I don't know. Good news is the floors fit well. :D

Boy! Sure looks like SOMEONE did a good job of shimming those floors up! ;) :D
Looking fine there boss! Without the plywood panels in the gally bulkheads, they really aren't very strong... I'd suggest running a hefty brace athwartships at the bulkheads, and at the lift points.

Shim ends are always a bitch to caulk! Work lightly from both sides.
Prime cotton with red lead and turpentine prior to paying. Nibbed ends are better than shim ends. Too late for that though. Just go easy.

She'll swell right up Margo. When I hosed down the interior of Talisman before the launch it was like a showerhead underneath. Water dripped from hundreds of places. Yet when we launched her the pump shut off, briefly, after 45 minutes.:D The pump hardly came on at all after the first night.
