-leifWOW! Very nice old lady. I sent for the list of what it needs that the eBay auction ad alludes to. Wow!

There is another thread on her, "East Coast Project?". I can attest to her original construction, I apprenticed under her builder. I'll have to look and see if I have any info on her. (buried in garage!!!)

How big is she? 40' lod? Pardon my ignorance.
Yep... there's a good retirement savings marriage killing block of wood if I ever saw one :D

........And I can feel her siren's song from here ;) Can you imagine pulling into port with that old girl all shone up? Thats the kind of boat that makes people forget about any other kind of construction

If someone is looking for a similar, smaller Rhodes vessel, I know of a 1940 34 foot Rhodes sloop that has already been replanked, reframed, and redecked with teak. It is located in Southern New Jersey, and the owner bought another boat.
She still needs the dog house and the interior, and If I recall, the mast needed to be reglued. in a few places.
If anyone is interested e-mail me, and I'll give you the guy's phone number.
