Thought I'd attempt posting a picture. Doesn't look right but we'll see.

Don't have very many and she's tucked away in a shed for the winter now. I made up a new rudder as the head of the old one was rotten. Just itching to get her in the water next spring.

Here's an in the water Ostkust shot to help you make it through the long winter:

I've got to come up with a name for this boat; maybe I'll be able to remember how to spell that properly. Great picture Steven, someone must have been high up to take it. Does the '10' on the main have any significance? Picture really shows off the height of her mast.

That pic was taken from the jetty to Spring Point Light, I like that it is so similar to the sketch Al Mason drew for the original article on the Ostkust in The Rudder in 1944:

I really don't know about the "10", maybe the 10th Ostkust built? The sails are twenty years old at least.

Here's a real up high pic, I took it from the roof of the house:

I found a picture of Spring Point Light. It got a little scary trying to get some shots of the boat underway. There was almost no wind, lots of current and the breakwater is made from some huge blocks of granite. :)

I think a 36' version would be Ed's S&S Weekender. :D
Speaking of which, I finally got to see Phoenix in person, wow, she's going to be a stunner when he's done. I love those wide side decks. :)

Naw...Al Mason did a 36 footer back in the mid 70's......
