I know many are interested in Peterson's "Susan", so I thought the only Susan hull built as a cutter would be of interest..... It is for sale now...on yachtworld...

http://www.yachtworld.com/core/listing/boatDetails.jsp?&units=Feet&currency=USD&ro=1&r=1813761&rs=yachtworld.com&rt=Cruiser&boat_id=1813761&checked_boats=1813761&enid=0&cit=true&toLength=29&ftid=101&man=peterson&Ntk=boatsEN&type=%28Sail%29&hmid=104&sm=3&currencyid=100&luom=126&boatsAddedSelected=-1&fromLength=26&slim=quick&rid=153

The owner of this gaff cutter added cockpit combings that were not in the original design...???, but the hull is the same as "Susan" with one less mast... resullting in a little more open interior... The Susan hull sure is a looker...!

Well Shane, I don't want a carvell boat, I live in hot Texas.... but she is very aesthetically appealing. I think I could find a hell of a boat for a lot less than $200,000 that was cold molded... or build my own choice. I think the builder of "Susan" here will have invested about $60K in materials, engine, etc...everything not counting labor... by the time he is finished...

This cutter is way out of my price range and the cockpit combings make it look kinda weird...)))

Thanks for the thoughts, but I still may build Herreshoff's "Pleasure"...
