I just bought the $50 3m orange caulk gun from fisheries here in seattle. I'm putting teak sytems in my deck seams and it worked wonderfully for about the first 12 tubes then it started sticking. The keeper won't release half the time when you release the handle. The rod and all of the parts seem to be clean and bur free. I'm going to take it back and am wondering if this is a fluke problem, or are these not good guns?? When it works it's great zero pressure required and my wrists are very thankfull. It is quit annoying having to stick my finger up to reset it half the time though.

Thanks

JAke

I've heard really really good things about the Ryobi cordless caulk gun - if you have lots of caulking to do it's great.

I HATE the Ryobi gun; trying it with 5200 proved a disaster. We still have it; it sits in the tool trailer while I caulk with the sticking orange manual gun .....
