I might suggest redoing it as a double planked bottom...but I cheat...I would put on the first layer with the planks butt tight....then either cut a groove about 1/8th inch deep by 1/2 inch wide with a router every 8 inches across the bottom...using two or three layers of 1/2 inch wide kevlar tape and epoxy fill the grooves side to side...coat the remaining wood with CPES one or two coats...then put on the next layer of planking...cpes and then xynole fabric......that is if you want a glass bottom.....

Fabric (glass or polyester) slathered with 5200 between the two layers will let it look original from the outside, while letting it live on a trailer and not leak like a sieve at every launch. But do it right,'cause it ain't comming apart to try again!
