I remember a folding mahogany swim ladder with four or six steps that folded in1/2 for storing. I would greatly appreciate someone leading me a source.
Thanks

You can also see this plan in Mate "The Finely Fitted Yacht". Here is one I made from those plans:

Ooh nice ladder!
Very shiny too, is it slippery when wet on those steps? ;p
Those hooks on the top look like brass, did you make them yourself or are they available as is?

I have a project of this type.
It occurred to me that since my companion ladder "lands" on the engine box, with the top of the box forming a step and two steps on the face of the box, I could replace the existing ladder with a swim ladder of this type, which would thus do double duty and save having to carry round a separate swim ladder.

Are those ordinary jib cars that the ladder is hooked into, or some specialty thing?

I'd guess they're the vanilla item. Here's one:

Banjo,
The bronze ladder fittings (including hinges) came from Toplicht. The bronze hooks came from Traditional Marine.
Looks like I have another winter project. That is one beautiful ladder.. Cheers.
