Anyone here a member? They're having their annual meeting in Mystic on Feb 2. From the website, it looks to be in the nature of a classic EBS. With music.

These folks had a booth at the Maine Boatbuilders Show last year. I think they ought to be better known.

I agree Hugh.. It is interesting that the organization is not better known. Then again, although I suspect there are reasons for this, the organization does not even have a phone number. Almost as though it is a one man organization.
I'll know more after the second as I am planning on going/crashing..

That's the same weekend the Catboat Association is having it's annual meeting at the Mystic Marriot. There is always a nice display room with boats and such:
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. All Catboat Resource Show - This year’s displays will flow between the Marriott Ballroom Salons ABC and the Mystic Ballroom Salons DEF. As usual we will have a fantastic group of catboat enthusiasts displaying and selling everything from anchors to artwork and more.

I'm imagining 'ballroom salons' flooded with two feet of water. Sailors in their catboats of all stripes sailing around and luffing up alongside display tables set like sandbars to look at displays of wares....:D

Well, in that case, Ian will most certainly be there...:D;)
Needless to say, sounds more exciting than what I see is gonna be going on at the Schooner Assoc. meeting... Umm, "please read the minutes..."

I sense a rumble in the making!

No, no rumble. I'll just pop into the schooner association meeting, look around, listen to the minutes and then crash the catboat association meeting and ask for a membership application...
I'll try to disguise Airlie...

You know you have a really pretty boat when it also looks good cat rigged.:D

rigged as above is interesting but I sense she would not sail worth a damn...:eek:

Ian always goes. Party Time :D:D:D
I've gone the last three times, but now it's too far away. Don't make enough to justify the driving and place to stay costs.

If you clean up the mess you made in the sky, and make the horizon horizontal I think it will do just fine! :D:D:Dhttp://www.landsedgephoto.com/Airlie_Cat.jpg
