Dear Forumites,

I'll post this once here, and at the other topics.

It's fine that you vent, and we appreciate hearing your problems or complaints. Your complaints are our problems, and we want to know them so we can help resolve them.

I can't vouch for Rick or Lorna, but, truthfully, I don't check the Forum postings everyday. Despite what some may feel, WoodenBoat is an all-day endeavor, all by itself.

If you have a problem with delivery or availability of your copies of WoodenBoat, we want to know.

Feel free to post your comments here, but also please send them to us, and (if you are a subscriber) include your mailing address so we can check?

I am Carl -- carl@woodenboat.com
Rick is -- rick@woodenboat.com
Lorna (who actually deals with and solves all subscription problems) is --
lorna@woodenboat.com.

This is not mere rhetoric -- we exist to serve you. You are our customers, and we can't and won't publish WoodenBoat without you.

My new expression: WoodenBoat On! Thanks, Carl

(OK, it's not that catchy, but I hope you know what I mean.)

We welcome ALL your comments. Complaints and otherwise.

You guys are the best. From the outstanding publication that we all enjoy, the web-site, the hospitality at the Show, the store.......... WoodenBoat is a part of our lives. Thank You.

Thanks, Stu. And you are an important part of our lives, too.

We are all in this together.

Best, Carl

I doubt anyone expects you, Rick or Lorna to be monitoring the Forum every day (or even frequently) and Lorna explained the vagaries of delivery on another thread. The unreliability of the postal delivery process and resulting situation must be annoying for you all also.

As a long time fan of your magazine and a subscriber, any venting was not a criticism of you or any of your staff.
It was more an expression of frustration that the vagaries of mail services had kept your publication from my PO box.
Eventually I drove 60 Kilometers to buy Issue 199 as severe withdrawal symptoms were setting in and local newsagents dont carry it.
It's great that WB staff members post here.
