Old Herreshoff Marlin Advertisement

Thought some of you might be interested in this ad. I bought it on Ebay last week. It was listed as c.1937. I love the Marlin design. It is based upon the Fish hull.

Nice design. They cost $65,000 new from Cape Cod Shipbuilding (in fiberglass)

A glass Marlin back in 1978 was my third boat, after two wooden hulls. A sweet little sailor- The first time my baby daughter ever slept through the entire nignt was at anchor- Never to young to begin sailing. Those were good times! Sold the Marlin and purchased an H 28, then an Alden Malabar Sr.
Must love those wooden boats. Looking for a 40 something schooner?
