I've read magazine articles where they mention peel-ply as a way to produce nice, clean filets.
Where do you buy it? How is it used? Does it work?
Any experience you can share will be most helpful

There may be more info on peelply on the aviation side of epoxy. I've used it and it can save time. My recolection of frustration is that the stuff I had would not do a compound cruve therefore a compound cruve fillet had to be made up in short sections and then "worked out" with grinding/sanding anyway. If there is a bi-ax weave of the stuff, it would be the ticket.

I used a tight weave 100% polyester fabric (from JoAnn Fabric store) with 50% off coupon. So it was $2.50-$3/yard. It works great and is essentially the same as peel ply. I think the fabric is normally used for a dress lining. It is really slippery. The epoxy will not stick and it peels leaving a nice textured surface.
