Yes... it has been a while. Thanks for the interest.
I remembered my log in info though.
I am building the trailer for my boat. I had to buy all the parts and that took two months, on my NON CEO income.
It will be a special design with independent suspension allowing the boat to be very low in the frame. Should be finished this month.
The boat is finshed except for the cap rail.
I have installed the engine controls remotely so that bending down to reach them on the engine will not be necesaary.

Gidday Donald. I reckon you will have found some elegant solutions to all the available problems and I'm looking forward to an update.
In yer own time, of course.

Hi Don! Up in Gurneville, you are about the closest forumite to where I'm at down in Liberty Valley between Petaluma and Sebastapol as the crow flies. Keep us posted on your progress!
Also, out of curiousity, have you checked out Sturgeon's Mill outside Occidental? It's the last steam operated sawmill in the state, second to last in the US, as I recall. They've restored it and will be open for tours the last weekend in May. I thought I'd check it out.

For those of you that do not know about my project go to the SEARCH feature and type in HONDA INBOARD. Also 19ft. sailboat.
My project was not soon enough with the gas prices that we are seeing. I think Latitude 38 may be interested as well.

I am curious about how this is viewed with all of the stringent air pollution requirements. Do they get an air permit and a variance, a real limited operating hours permit, or just a big catalytic converter.

This from their website:
Driving Directions:
Take Highway 116 to Occidental Road (just north of Sebastopol), turn West on Occidental Road to Green Hill Road, turn onto Green Hill Road and proceed to the bottom of the hill. It will be on your left hand side and clearly marked.
During the demonstrations please park in the large parking area just off the main road and walk the short distance to the mill following the signs along the driveway. For those who need assistance the attendant will allow you drop off and return to park your vehicle.

Hey! We done got to 'tcho you no steenking EPA standards!
Never been there, but I expect they burn slash, bark and mill scraps to heat the boiler. That's what the old steam mills always used to do.
