One for JohnB - what appears to be a yacht with some historical significance for the NZ scene has been listed for sale here in Oz.
The ad says: Traditional cutter rigged yawl. Built in 1930 with lots of history. She's the very first Lidgard Yacht to be built. This classic was owned and raced by the commodore of the NZ Yacht Club for many years and once held the record for the Trans - Tasman crossing Australia to NZ.
She's named SHADY LADY (can't say I like the moniker!), here's a picture, she's a pretty thing, 36 feet long. Apparently she's been splined and glassed at some stage, hopefully it was done properly.
