Anyone know if there's any more info on this 21 footer out in cyberland? Just curious.

Yup. That's where I snagged the photo from. There appears to be no write up and no plans available. Oh well.

Not likely I'll ever build one but it's a charming boat. About the size of a Handy Billy 21 with a cabin. Probably runs on ten or fifteen hp.

I would tell ya... if you do a side by side comparison.. It does looked like HandyBilly 21'

IIRC Maynard Bray added a similar cabin to his HB 21.

I reread Mr. Bryan's article in WB in which he mentions the boat's derivation from the work of William Hand .The name "Handy Billy " seems to be a playful tip of the hat to that designer ( I know it's also a synonym for watch tackle ).
Do drawings for Hand's Piute still exist ? I have those of the Weston Farmer boat of the same name which is a tribute to Hand's work ; how close a replica was unclear to me .
I'll be surprised if it turns out he placed high standing headroom cabins on his smaller narrow boats .It's mentioned in the article that Handy Billy has a bit more beam to length than Hand's boats . Maybe "Liberty" has still more beam ?
