Has anyone had restoration work done in Belize such as frames, stem, deck etc. I have a beautiful old Berthon that needs a lot of work and will move her to any location where good quality work can be done for a reasonable price. I would also stay and oversee the work. Any information on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

The island of Carriacou has a very strong reputation for excellent wooden boat work, although it has, with the advent of the other stuff, become fewer and farther between. I was there a few months ago though, andthere's still quality work going on. You'll probably have to contact a local there in person however.... I do have some contacts that could probably help you find a builder if you're interested.
