I have a 63 E.M. White. How should a trailer be set up to support this boat correctly? I just finished installing forty new ribs and I don't want to bust any by not having it supported properly. My thoughts are that a bunk trailer suits this boat best but that the bunks are there for some support but mostly stability and that the boat should be mostly supported by having straight rollers along the keel ,say about three for this nineteen foot boat.Does that make any sense to anyone but me. Ha Ha!! Looking forward to your input. Thanks in advance.

I don' know your boat at all, but if i were setting this up I would focus on two things:

spreading the load

use a long and as wide of bunks as you can, this will spread any load being carried by the bunks over as many ribs as possible reducing the chance of any breaking. if the keel can carry much of the load on rollers then you should be good to go.

keeping it balanced

left to right balance, should be fairly obvious but this will help with spreading the load.

the other concern would be to have a trailer whose suspension matches your boat's weight. if you have too "light" of a trailer then you risk bottoming out the suspension which will shock the boat, too heavy and you will be bouncing all over even on smooth roads.

good luck
