My mother bought me an extra-large Land's End cotton canvas tote bag of the type you're all probably familiar with, for use as a beach bag for my daughter, and I've found it to be a very useful item.
I'm wondering if anyone makes a similar tote from a heavy-duty tanbark cotton canvas (the Land's End bags are 24oz. cotton canvas), or where I can find such a heavy-duty tanbark cotton canvas to make my own bags and other items.
I also came across a nice design for a tool bag in "The Toolbox Box" by Jim Tolpin (Taunton Press), and I'd like to find something akin to that. Ideally my bag would have both internal and external storage pockets.
