My dad's currently rebuilding a Yellow Jacket speedboat originally built around 1957 and he's in need of marine grade plywood near Cleveland, Ohio. We are currently checking Homestead Hardwoods out of Vickery, Ohio and we just want to see if there are other alternative places. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. I had this posted in the People and Places category and I was informed to put it under this category so my apologies if this is seen twice.

Homestead is probably going to be your best bet. Public Lumber in Detroit stocks marine ply, but that's a good bit further away.

I like Homestead myself. The closest place to Cincinnati I've found to get BS1088 meranti and okume. Thier plywood is top quality stuff and their prices are the best I've seen. Sorry, I don't know of anywhere else up there to get marine plywood.

Your local building supply company, not a big box store , can special order any type of plywood you need. I was last quoted 95 dollars for 4x8 x3/4 doug fir marine grade.
