Windy, spitting rain. You don't really want to come here do you?

Good sailing weather though the rivers are running high.

I wouldn't mind coming for a day or two. I think that it was 96 here yesterday.

A top of 58 degrees, that's cool, and that is our maximum forcast here today ... Snap!

... unfortunately the wind chill is currently at -3.1C and it is drizzling with more rain heading our way. It is a good day for a bike ride and to flick up a bit of mud.

The World Mountain Bike Championships are to be held here next year and the Territory Government has built a super course close to home. The course is open to the public, free of charge, no bookings necessary, there is something like 60 kilometres of torturous tracks and training tracks for all levels of rider.

Yesterday I just finished coming downhill, I was flying and when I got to the bottom of the hill one of the calipers broke after I had stopped. I lifted the bike up to put it in the car and the front wheel fell off. I might have used up all of this year's luck yesterday.

You should see this course it really is world class, the facilities are amazing and access is equally fine ... and a good way to spend a cold grey day.

Warren.

I wouldn't live there for less than 300 grand a year....... With 10 weeks vacation paid double time.
