Old Farts for Kid's Sailing

Even though I have had a fun little, pretty much irrelevant, tiff with Tom Lathrop in the past, I really want to congratulate him for being a very serious part of a program designed to get more kids out on the water in his home town of Oriental, N.C.

I don't know if this has already been covered on these pages, but even if it has, the old dudes responsible for the sailing program described, deserve another really big round of applause.

Thanks Chris, the kids are already enjoying the boats and learning to sail. I had the first of (probably) many repairs jobs this week. Victim was Sleepy as a port tack in the side, of course. I'm thinking of adding a swim noodle to the bow as standard equipment.
