Anybody ever heard of the "Kuroshio Sea"?

Well it is not exactly a real Sea, but large enough to hold 4 Whalesharks! in Japan , of course......

Lets see, the tank is 35 metres wide and 27 metres long.

A whale shark grows up to 12 meters.

So a comparible area for a human - who can grow to a little under 2 meters would be 6 meters by 4.5 meters. :eek:

Fancy living your whole life in a box 6 meters x 4.5 meters ?

Any idea what the typical range of one of these shark is ? I don't imagine that they will thrive in such a small tank.

I don't think I'll be booking a flight over to go see it.
