Anybody going to see the tall ships?

Sort of a it-ain't-Mystic-but-it'll-have-to-do-for-this-year day for me.

What manner of rum does the crew of Royaliste drink? I've forgotten.

That'll be cool, and a chance to meet Gary and tour Royaliste to boot!:)

Going to Port Huron brings back all kinds of memories. :D and

At least I remembered to tell Marilyn to put it on the calendar of events as a day trip this year. I forgot all about it the last time Royaliste was on the Great Lakes.

I may not know much, but rum I know. I don't know what they have had in the past, but logically there are two things you could bring. One would be a bottle of Pussers. That's a musty, strong tasting Jamaican style of rum, and of course, it's style has a name; Navy rum.

The other would be a rum of quality in a style that suits you, so what suits you? I have to bring rum to the EBS tomorrow, as by request my menu item is dark and stormies. I'll be looking for some Goslings and ginger beer in Mystic. That should do the job. If I can find it, I'll bring some Pampero too.
I don't generally pack liquor onto airplanes, so I will be buying it there. Have fun Milo and say hello to the guys for me.

Yaargh! We're docked in Algonac, headed up to Port Huron tomorrow morning around ten....In port by 3 or 4 in the afternoon..Rum drinkage runs to most any type, with the exception of 'flavors', such as coconut,etc..we are 'sponsored' here and there by a new rum, Pirates Choice, out of Key West, so the flavored style is covered....looking forward to meeting up with any and all formites..

I was there yesterday, but not soon enough to get close. Sorry for the strange date on the photos but that's been corrected. Raining today. Again.

Looks like a very nice consolation prize. I really want to get up there at some point and see the 6mR's and the 30's. A few tall ships would be a nice touch, I would think.
