I'ts taken nearly 5 years to get Corio Vertue to this stage so I'm blowing my trumpet again!.
Check out: http://users.bigpond.com/apindrans/cv_web
for progress over the last few years.

Most of my inspiration and dedication to othe task has come from this site and I thank all contributors. There is more work to be done but I can at least now live on board, and sail with a new set of sails and they are working just fine!

Andy, I remember swapping emails with you five years ago about bronze floors for Corio Vertue. Congratulations on getting so far with her.

Tell me, by "Western Port Marina" do you mean Hastings or, as I've assumed, Yaringa? I'll be visiting Yaringa myself next week to talk to them about getting Sanderling towed round and dressed up for sale, and if you'll email me your berth number I'll try to look you up.

Congratulations and good luck with future progress,

Mike

Vertues really are great boats. I'm working on a Dolphin this week, and it reminds me quite a bit of Ian Wright's Vertue "Patience".

Vertue SN 136, "Patience," Cheoy Lee 1963 here. Congratulations! Now that she's all restored, you can start refinishing the stuff you did first! LOL Vertues are like that... the world's only 25' fifty-footer!

Nice job! Great website, too!

Yup...... Both the Vertue, and the Dolphin are a lot bigger than it would seem possible. When I first boarded Ian's "Patience" I said; "nice!.......31'?" He said "Just under 25'"..... Coulda knocked me over with a ham sammich! (Which he attempted a few minutes later with multiple pints of Adnam's Broadside on the side at "The Jolly Sailor" ;) )
