Get your hands on a complete index of FineWoodworking. Many years back--in the black-and-white days, methinks--there was a piece on a feller who build one on a 4-wheeled chassis for dragging behind his car/truck. Don't recall the specifics. I'd dig through my collection, but I don't have that many years to live.

There be info on the interwhatzit, but useful plan type stuff is hard to glean. I usedta think that a worthy project. BTW there are folk in Olde Britain as builds 'em for those with sufficient pazooties to spend, folks who plant 'em in the back garden. Just seems wrong.
