I am removing 75 year old bronze bolts from my old keel, appart for the thread, they look prety good... Can I re-use the good part?
Silicone bronze can't be that old right?
Can silicone bronze be forged or welded without losing its corosion resistance?

When I said to my wife, as I was covered in oak shavings and dust, that I had no desire of being anywhere else than in my shop restoring my boat, I saw a new odd look on her face...
Should I start to wory or stick to my bronze issue?
