I'll be there from Saturday morning on. Looking forward to seeing the Martha again, and whatever other neat boats show up for the occasion.

Robin, my youngest and I will arrive Thursday and stay 'til Sunday. Long range forecast is looking good at the moment... which make me nervous, but I hope it holds. Jonathan, my oldest will be joining us on Saturday and will be splashing his newly-completed Nutshell at some point. Robin and I will be standing off in ours to salute the newest member of the Nutshell fleet. All forumites are invited to look us up sometime in the evening for a celebratory tot o' Barbados gold.

Oh lordy, I wish I could attend, but it's, oh, about a 5-day drive from here, each way. The Small Craft Festival is my favorite boating event ... and not just because I placed second two years running in the oar on gunnel rowing race. I'll be looking forward to the pictures. And if anyone knows Lad Mills at the museum, give him my regards.

I got to sail on Elf a few weeks back and she will be there and Rick will be giving the main presentation.

7:30pm – Keynote Speaker: Rick Carrion of the cutter Elf
Built in 1888, the "30-footer" class cutter Elf has a long and distinguished record in America's maritime history and has recently been listed on the National Register of Historic Places after being lovingly and meticulously restored over the last 30-plus years. Rick Carrion will share the joys (and trials!) of bringing a truly classic American yacht back from the brink.
